Constable GD 2018 Physical Test PET/ PST Requirement (Male/ Female)

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared CBT (Computer Based Test) for Constable (GD) which were conducted between 11.02.2019 to 11.03.2019. The qualified candidate has to appear in the Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standard Test (PST) held by the SSC Zone Wise. The selection of Male/ Female GD Constable in CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) is based on the Written Test (CBT), PET/ PST (Physical Test), Document Verification, Medical Examination and finally the Merit list.

The candidate appeared in SSC Constable GD-2018 CBT Exam must check their marks (Qualify for PET/ PST) or Not.

SSC GD Constable PET/ PST Male and Female

The 2nd Stage of selection for Constable (GD) is “PET and PST” which is also called as Physical Test. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Zone wise will conduct Physical Test of GD-Constable (Male & Female) candidates found eligible in online application.

The Physical Standard Test (PST) is conducted to check Height/ Weight and Chest of the candidate. Note: Female candidate are exempted from chest measurement. The eligible candidate in PST is then called for PET (Physical Endurance Test), the test is: Running, Bowl throwing, long jump, etc. (The PET may vary, so you can check complete physical requirement in the notification.

We are also providing the SSC GD Constable Physical Test 2018 requirement. After the physical test, the candidates are called for the written test (100 marks) with 4 sections. The candidate must have the minimum standard required by the CAPF’s Constable GD recruitment 2018 . The PST of GD Constable is different for North East states and caste wise also. The male and female PST requirement is given below.

Height

The height of male and female constable GD is given below.

• For Males: 170 cms.
• For Females: 157 cms.

Relaxations

The candidate can avaial height relaxation (male/ female) candidate if they satisfy below conditions

1. North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura state minimum height for male and female candidate are: (160 cms for males and 147.5 cms for females).
2. Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir will be 165 cms for males and 155 cms for females.
3. The minimum height for all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 162.5 cms for males and 150 cms for females.

Chest: Only for males candidate

Unexpanded: 80 cms (only for male candidates) – GD Constable.
Expanded: Min expansion 5 cms.

Weight: For males and Females: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
