Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) has launched the Jeevan Pramaan website (jeevanpramaan.gov.in) that can be used by the Pensioners to submit & download their life certificate. The LIFE CERTIFICATE is valid for 1 year (November 2020 to 31 October 2021). According to the Govt Rules, the Pensioners has to submit a Life Certificate in the month of November.
If the Pensioner is not able to upload/ submit the Jeevan Parmaan Patra to Bank then their Monthly Pension is not credited i.e. December 2019 Pension is discontinued until you submit LIFE CERTIFICATE.
Using the online JEEVANPRAMAAN.GOV.In the pensioner can download Digital Life Certificate using Aadhaar Card, Mobile OTP, and Biometric authentication mechanism. In this case, you don’t have to visit the Bank, Post Office or CSC.
