Reliance Jio has announced that from 10 October 2019 onward the Jio 4G Customers has to pay 6 paisa per minute IUC Charges for every call they make to other network (operator). As per the Press Release issued on 9 October 2019, that TRAI is charging 6 paisa per minute (Jio to other network) under the IUC charges. Till date, Jio has paid Rs 13500 crore INR only for the IUC charges.
The IUC Charges is Interconnect Usage Charge is cost paid by one mobile telecom operator to another, when its customers make outgoing mobile calls to the other operator’s customers.These callsbetween two different networks are known as mobile off-net calls.IUC charges are fixed by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)and are currently at 6 paise per minute.

JIo IUC Plan for Postpaid
If you are the Pre Post Jio User or just a Postpaid Jio customer, then also you have to pay IUC Mobile Charges 6 Paisa per minute calling to other network mobile number. You don’t have to recharge with any plan but you can Top-Up above given voucher so that you can get the benefit of free DATA otherwise the billing will be included in the monthly bill.
