Ministry of Railways has started Shramik Special Train to carry Migrant Laborer/ Worker/ Students etc. to their Home City via Railways. The State Govt has also set up Special Express (Passenger Trains) Nodal Adhikari Phone Number (Helpline No.). You need to register yourself to get Train Ticket – Call to the designated District/ State Nodal Officer/ Corona Control Room.
Ministry of Home Affairs on 29 April 2020 released a notification that allows migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students, and other persons to return back to their home states. Approx 50 Lakh Pravasi are going to register online via Helpline/ Nodal Sahayata Kendra/ Website to return back their Home/ Village. Govt. of India has an issue No.40-3/2020-DM-1 (A) to states/ UT to make necessary arrangements.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that there are total 28 Lakhs Migrants to be brought back to Bihar and without Special Pravasi Train, it will is impossible and will take approx more than 30 days via Bus.

Special Train Rules – Reservation
You have to follow these rules. Don’t go to the station for Train Booking/ Reservation. The State Govt. will ask the Ministry of Railways for Special Express Trains. You can contact and register yourself and your family members. So, If any Train is scheduled. You will get an SMS or Call for the Update.
