RPSC ACF/ Forest Range Officer Recruitment 2018
Dept. of Forest has issued a notification in the month of April 2018 for total 169 Post (99 Post of सहायक वन संरक्षण) and (70 posts of वन रेंज ऑफिसर). The online application process is over. RPSC has now released exam datesheet. The candidate must download tentative exam schedule form official website www.rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in
The Age Limit was a minimum 18 years and the maximum was 40 years as on 1 Jan 2019.
Cut-Off & Merit List Requirement
The candidates who have obtained a minimum of 35% marks in each of the compulsory subjects and a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate for the written test held by the Commission shall be considered to have obtained qualifying marks at the examination. The Commission may in its discretion award grace marks up to one in each of the compulsory papers and up to three in the aggregate. Such of the candidates who have obtained qualifying marks shall be called by the Commission for an interview.
(2) The commission shall not recommend any candidate who has failed to obtain a minimum of 33% marks in the personality and viva-voce examination and a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate.
(3) The Commission shall, in the case of women, candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Most Backward Classe, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes recommend the names of such candidates up to the number of vacancies reserved for them amongst those who have qualified for interview even if they fail to obtain the minimum marks in the personality and viva-voce examination or in aggregate prescribed under the aforesaid provision.
Exam Pattern of RPSC Forest Range Officer & ACF
In the official notification has released scheme of examination for Forest Range Officer (FRO) and ACF Grade-I exam 2018.
A candidate has to choose any two of the optional subjects and must appear in the compulsory subject. The duration of the question paper is 180 minutes for each paper.
Compulsory Subjects
- General Knowledge: 100 marks
- General English: 100 marks
Optional Subjects (Choose any two subjects)
The question paper would be 200 marks (each).

The candidate who qualifies in the written test shall be required to appear for the personality and viva-voce examination, which carries a maximum of 75 marks.

Waking Test: For the RPSC Forest Range officer/ ACF, the Male/Female candidates must pass a physical efficiency test covering a distance of 25/16 kms walk within 4 hours on foot, respectively. This test will be arranged either by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission or by the State Government.
