Railway Recruitment Control Board has issued Centralized Employment Notice (CEN-01/ 2019) to recruit NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) in total 19 RRB’s Zone. As per the short notice issued on 13 Feb 2019 by the Recruitment Cell of Indian Railway, total 1,30,000 post to be filled in the year 2019-2020 by inviting online application under the RRB CEN 01/ 2019 (NTPC), RRB CEN 02/ 2019 (Para Medical Staff), RRB CEN 03/2019 (Ministerial & Isolated Categories) and RRC CEN 01/ 2019 (Level-I) post.

The lower and upper age limit indicated for RRB NTPC posts will be reckoned as on 01.07.2019. The upper age limit is relaxable as under, subject to submission of requisite certificates:

Age Relaxation Rules: The upper age limit relaxation is as per the Government rules. Below are some of the points (relaxation of age for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Ex-SErvicemen etc.)

• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• By 3 years for OBC candidates.
• No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.
• For Ex-Servicemen, up to the extent of service rendered in Defence, plus 3 years, provided they have put in more than 6 months service after attestation.
• By 5 years for candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
• By 10 years for UR Persons with Disabilities (PWD), 13 years for OBC Persons with Disabilities and 15 years for SC&ST Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
• Upper age limit in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from husband but not remarried shall be 35 years for Unreserved, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.

The candidate has to visit official website of the RRB to which the candidate wants to apply. Also, note that if you have applied from one RRB then you are not eligible to apply/ register application for same post or any other post from other RRB. If more than one application is found, then your all registration form are rejected and you will not able to sit for the – ONLINE COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) Exam.

Here is the process of filling online RRB NTPC 2019 Form:

STEP 1: Click on the “ONLINE/E-Application” Link.
STEP 2: Click on the “New Registration” link.
STEP 3: Fill in the basic details i.e.. Name, Father’s name, Date of Birth (as per 10th class certificate),
cateogry, e-mail Address and Mobile number etc.  (Also Note: You have to enter your mobile number/ emal-id for the OTP Verification or RRB will communicate via SMS on mobile number for important message.
STEP 4: On submission of required details an email will be received in the registered e maii-ID. Open inbox of your registered e-mail and
STEP 5: Follow the instructions and complete the registration process step-by-step for getting a Registration Number& Password.
STEP 6: Login using the Registration Number and Password.
STEP 7: Fill up other details such as educational qualification etc. Depending upon the educational qualification of the candidate, the eligible post(s) matching with the qualification (of the candidate) in that RRB shall be listed out.

Ensure payment of exam fee is done only during the dates mentioned in the Challan/Pay-ln-Slip

The candidate has to upload recent colour photograph (of size 3.5 em x 3.5 em, 15 kb – 40 kb, 100 DPI in JPG/JPEG  format).

The candidates belonging to SC/ST have to upload scanned copy of their SC/ST certificates (JPG/JPEG format, 50 kb – 100 kb) also for availing the facility of free travel authority (Second Class Railway Pass).
