The Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar has announced Renew of student Credit Card 2020-21 for admission in UG, PG Course (B.A, B.Sc, Polytechnic, BTech, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom, BDS, MBBS, Hotel Management, Diploma, GNM, ANM, MCA, BCA, and other courses.

This scheme was launched in 2015 to help financially to the student who were not able to continue higher education due to money problems. CM Nitish Kumar has divided this scheme in three categories based on the location of students’ college/ university.

Here is the brief information regarding the New Education Loan (Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme).

Bihar Credit Card योजना के लिए पात्रता:

इस योजना के तहत बिहार राज्य के निवासी विद्यार्थी जिन्होंने बिहार राज्य एवं सीमावर्ती राज्यों से 12वीं कक्षा उसी को तथा उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्ति हेतु ऋण के लिए शुभ हो, उन्हें बिहार राज्य शिक्षा वित्त निगम के माध्यम से शिक्षा ऋण उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा| इसके लिए अनिवार्य है कि:-

• विद्यार्थी द्वारा बिहार एवं अन्य राज्य या केंद्र शासित सरकार के संबंधित नियामक एजेंसी द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण संस्थान उच्च शिक्षा हेतु नामांकन किया गया हो या नामांकन के लिए चयनित हो|
• यह ऋण उच्च शिक्षा के सामान्य पाठ्यक्रमों,  विभिन्न व्यावसायिक एवं तकनीकी पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए दी जा सकती है|
• इस योजना के अंतर्गत बिहार राज्य से मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों से  बारहवीं कक्षा  अथवा समतुल्य ( पॉलिटेक्निक पाठ्यक्रम के लिए दसवीं कक्षा)|
