On 27 June 2020, Tiddi Dal of approx 10 km length and 6 km wide (Size of 2cm x 4cm) has moved from Jhunjhunu to Rewari then Gurugram.

As per the report published at PIB Delhi, till today 1,27, 225 hectares have been controlled from 11 April 2020. The Tiddi Dal has mostly affected Rajasthan, MP, UP, Haryana, Gujarat, Punjab and Maharashtra, Telangana, Chandigarh.

As of today, The Tiddu Dal is now moving forward to Aligarh to Agra, Fatehpur, Bharatpur, Lucknow, Kanpur side. The State Agriculture Departments of Rajasthan UP, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat. We will add more updates here.

To get the Crop/ Vegetable destroy get Crop Compensation:-

STEP 1: You need to Print Out the Girdawari Report (Rabi 2020-21) – Visit the official Girdawari Portal of State, Enter the Khasra No/ Khata No

STEP 2: Take a print out of it. (PDF)

STEP 3: Go to the Patwari (Gram Panchayat) and Get the Signature of Patwari

STEP 4: Submit the form at Gram Panchayat.

STEP 5: After the Verification/ Checking by the Agriculture Officer, you will get the Compensation (टिड्डी फसल मुआवजा).

Major Steps Taken by Govt

Rajasthan State:

1. Purchase 800 Tractors mounted spray equipment sanctioned for Rajasthan State Government. (2.86 crores).
2. Rs 14 Crore Financial assistance sanctioned for Rajasthan State under RKVY for the hiring of vehicles, tractors and for purchase of pesticides.

Gujarat State:

1. Financial assistance of Rs. 1.80 crore sanctioned for Gujarat State for purchase of vehicles, spray equipment, safety uniform, android application, training with regard to locust.
