Good News for the Indian Mobile Users, Soon you are going to get 5G Network. The Ministry of Communications under the Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has approved 5G Spectrum of Bands (700MHz, 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, and 2500 MHz frequency bands). The Reliance Chairman in July 2020 said that, their network/ infrastructure is ready to deploy 5G services as soon as Govt. approves the 5G Spectrum in India.
On 16 Dec 2020, Govt of India approves auction of following Frequency Bands:-
- 700 MHz
- 800 MHz
- 900 MH
- 1800 MHz
- 2100 MHz
- 2300 MHz
- 2500 MHz
Total 5G Auction (Reserved Price) is Rs. 3,92,332.70 Crores.

After the Auction is over. The Higher bidder will get the Spectrum (Frequency Band) and 5G Network will be awarded.

Reliance Jio has partner with VIVO India to manufacture 5G JioPhone which is Made in India under the banner of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Mission. The Price of 5G Jio Phone will be around Rs 7000 to Rs 12000/- (Also, the Internal Storage of 128Gb, 256Gb and 512Gb) with 4Gb, 6GB and 8GB variant will be launched as per news.
The customer has to show their Interest on MyJio App. Soon after the Launch, you can upgrade your 4G SIM to 5G Sim (free of cost). All the new 5G Phone Buyers will get Free 5G Sim with 100GB Data per month free of cost for 3 Months.
