In the 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Group, Chairman Mukesh Ambani said Jio is ready with the all required infrastructure to roll out 5G in India. Jio is waiting to grab the Spectrum as soon as Dept. of Telecommunication (DOT) to announce bidding on 5G. Airtel/ Vodafone, Idea, and Jio will bid for State Wise 5G network spectrum.
The Govt. of India will get approx 2-3 Lakh Crores from selling the 5G Spectrum. It is expected that Jio will biggest bidder and approx December 2020, the process of 5G Spectrum Bidding will start.
The Existing Telecommunication Infrastructure including Jio Towers are capable to deliever 5G Services. Reliance has always kept this in mind that existing 4G should be upgraded to 5G (Hybrid 4G and 5G) services in India.
Jio 5G Prepaid Plans
Soon after the launch of 5G services by Reliance Jio. You can get the benefit of the Pre-Launch Offer. The 5G Plans will be totally different from existing 4G Jio Plans. Also, Jio will not charge for the Voice Calls. It will be free of cost.
