FCI, Govt of India has declared Minimum Selling cum Support Prices (MSP) for the Rabi Crops 2021-2022. Approx Rs 50 to Rs 300 per quintal has been increased and will directly benefit the Farmers. In this monsoon session (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha), 2 Bills have been passed to benefit the Farmers.

Union Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar in Lok Sabha announced that MSP increased by Rs. 50 to Rs. 300 per quintal as per the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission.

Shri Tomar said that the farmer will be free to sell his produce outside these systems anywhere throughout the country to get remunerative prices.
PM Modi has announced PMAASHA Yojana. “Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay SanraksHan Abhiyan” (PM-AASHA), comprising of the following Schemes :
- Price Support Scheme (PSS)
- Price Deficiency Payment Scheme (PDPS), a
- Scheme of Private Procurement and Stockist Scheme (PPSS)
Will give farmers better crop rates and aid in the procurement of pulses and oilseeds.
