BHIM verification failure despite several attempts

Hello,

I am not being able to get my mobile number verified by the BHIM app. I have tried all the possible steps suggested online, such as updating the app, restarting the phone, allowing all permissions, etc.; but I am still unable to verify the number and receive a failure message. Please help. I have reported the issue via the app several times, but have received no solution.
