The Ministry of Information Technology, Govt of India under section 69A has taken major steps to BAN Chinese Apps. These Apps were found in stolen India User Date and Keeping them on the Chinese Server. This leads to security concerns. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs has received many complaints regarding the security issue.
All Indian were in support to Ban/ BoyCott Chinese Electronics and Products. Now, Govt has Ban these 59 Chinese Apps.
How this will affect these uses who are using/ installed these Apps. Here we are also providing details What If someone is not going to Uninstall these Apps. Is it Punisable if you don’t delete these Apps?
The PUBG users are happy that Govt. has not banned PUBG Mobile App because it is not a Chinese App, PUBG is a South Korean App.
Govt Steps to BAN 59 Chinese Apps
- User will not able to use these Apps because the IP Address will be blocked
- The Apps will be deleted from Google Play Store and iOS App store
- .APK (of these 59 Apps) will also not work. Because DOT will Block the Server.
Govt Ban Chinese App: Is Punishable to Use them
Is it Punisable to use Apps after Govt. Ban Chinese Apps?
Answer: Yes, As per the Section 69A in The Information Technology Act, 2000, The intermediary who fails to comply with the direction issued under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years and shall also be liable to fine. (Source: IndiaKanoon)
