The Reserve Bank of India announced an extension on Loan EMI Moratorium. Now, you can Opt for Loan/ Credit Card Payment till 31 August 2020. As per Guidelines issued on 27th March 2020 by RBI, State Bank of India is providing moratorium of 3 months for payment of credit card outstanding balance.

Eligibility: The credit cardholder, we are paying their dues regular and current status is (non-delinquent with no overdue) as on 29 Feb 2020.
Note: Credit Card Payment which is you may have converted to EMI will also become under the RBI Moratorium.
June 2020 – SBI Credit Card Payment
In case, you opt for the SBI Credit Card Due Delay Payment Moratorium. Then you don’t have to pay dues in April and May 2020. But the due that are pending, and the interest on Dues has to be paid in June 2020.
Total Amount: outstanding balance + interest & applicable charges
The interest rate of up to 3.35% per month would be applicable during this period, and there will be no extension of tenure for EMI payments
For Example:
If you have a Credit Card and the outstanding amount is Rs 20,000 INR and your credit card due date is 10th of every month (so, 10th April 2020 and 10th May 2020).

SBI Credit Card Due Payment Moratorium – Apply Online
By default, if you don’t pay due of Credit Card in April/ May 2020 will come under the Moratorium. So, there will be no LPC (Late Payment Charges). But other charges including Interest Rates are applicable. Below is the complete details:

As per RBI guidelines, interest will continue to accrue on your credit card outstanding balance.
