RRB NTPC Syllabus 2019 (PDF) CEN 01/ 2019 Stage-I Syllabus

Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB) has announced short notice to recruit around 1,30,000 post in 2019-2020. The RRB and RRC will be releasing Centralized Employment Notice ?(CEN) by 20th Feb 2019. According to the press notice, RRB NTPC Syllabus CEN 01/ 2019 is for Non-Technical Popular Categories for which online application shall begin on 28 February 2019 at 10:00 Hrs. For which the candidate has to check their minimum eligibility before filling online form in any choice of their RRB’s.

RRB CEN 01/ 2019: For NTPC Post (Start of online application is 28 February 2019)
RRB CEN 02/ 2019: For Para Medical Staff (Start of online application is 4 March 2019)
RRB CEN 03/ 2019: For Ministerial & Isolated Categories (Start of online application is 8 March 2019)

RRB NTPC 2019 Recruitment (CEN 01/ 2019)

Ministry of Indian Railways ? has announced that around 1,30,000 vacant post in the Indian Railways shall be filled within 2 years.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Zone wise website will upload tentative vacancies post wise. Following are the post to be recruited.

  2. Enquiry cum Reservation Clerk (ECRC)
  3. Accounts Assistant Cum Typist (AAT)
  4. Train Clerk (TC)
  5. Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk

RRB NTPC Syllabus 2019

There will be only State-I CBT Exam for the NTPC post. The RRB Non-Technical Recruitment Examination 2019 online application shall begin from 28 Feb 2019.

The question paper will have total of 100 questions. The question paper is divided into four sections as given below:

  1. Arithmetic Ability (AA)
  2. Reasoning & General Intelligence (GI)
  3. General Awareness (GA) 
  4. General Science (GS)

Scheme of Examination (NTPC Exam 2019)

  1. Total number of questions: 100
  2. There will be negative marking. 1/ 3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer you have given.
  3. The question paper is MCQ Type (ONLY). So, for each question, there will be four option. One option will be the correct answer.
  4. The question paper is divided into four sections.
  5. Duration of CBT Exam is 90 minutes.
  6. For every correct answer, +1 mark will be rewarded.

RRB NTPC 2019 Syllabus

As we know that total 100 questions is divided into four sections (question paper). The first section is the Arithmetic Ability. You have only 90 minutes to answer all the questions.

This is a CBT (Computer Based Test) written test, so you don’t have extra time to answer the questions. After time is over, your screen will automatically log out. So, take action before this happen otherwise your answers will not be saved.

1. Arithmetic Ability 

The Arithmetic Ability (AA) section of RRB NTPC Stage-I Exam 2019 will have question-based on the Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. The RRB Board will give you Graduate Level, (10+2) arithmetics ability questions.

Suggestion: You should solve as many question papers. Remember rules, formulae so that you have enough time to complete the exam.

Note: The above table is just to tell you that the total number of questions asked from each topic so that you can prepare accordingly.

2. Reasoning & General Intelligence

You may be familiar with the topics covered under the Reasoning and General Intelligence section because this section is asked in most of the competitive examination.

Total of 25 questions will be asked from the Reasoning section. The candidate should solve a large number of question, previous years question paper so that you can get full idea of questions.

3. General Awareness

The 3rd Section of RRB Stage-I NTPC CBT Exam is General Awareness. As the name suggests that GA is all about the latest events and news all around us. It may be National as well as Internation News.

The candidate appearing in the NTPC CBT Exam has to prepare for the General Awareness.  This is vast area and question can be asked from any latest events and topics. So, you must read the newspaper, listen news, read a magazine etc.
