Tata Power has signed Distribution Franchisee Agreement (DFA) with Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) to provide electricity distribution and power requirements of customers in Ajmer for a period of 20 years which will be responsible for operating and maintaining the distribution network in Ajmer City, which includes City Division-I and City Division-II areas. Tata Power is also responsible for billing and collections in the said areas.
The Tata Power is a very popular and leading Thermal & Hydro Generation, Renewable Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and New & Value-Added Businesses including Rooftop Solar, Smart Metering, Micro Grids in rural areas and setting up of Electric Vehicle charging units.

- Tata Power (TPC – D), Mumbai: Approx 4,500 Cable km. of distribution network. Approx. 7 lakh consumers.
