Ministry of Railways has started Shramik Special Train to carry Migrant Laborer/ Worker/ Students etc. to their Home City via Railways. The State Govt has also set up Special Express (Passenger Trains) Nodal Adhikari Phone Number (Helpline No.). You need to register yourself to get Train Ticket  – Call to the designated District/ State Nodal Officer/ Corona Control Room.

Ministry of Home Affairs on 29 April 2020 released a notification that allows migrant workers, pilgrims, tourists, students, and other persons to return back to their home states. Approx 50 Lakh Pravasi are going to register online via Helpline/ Nodal Sahayata Kendra/ Website to return back their Home/ Village. Govt. of India has an issue No.40-3/2020-DM-1 (A) to states/ UT to make necessary arrangements.

5 May 2020 Shramik Express Timing (UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, MP, Rajasthan, Haryana, West Bengal).

1. Chikbanawara to Lucknow at 7 PM.

The Parvasi Majdur who are willing to get back to their Hometown has to register for Special Train Reservation online via Calling to the Nodal Adhikari (District DM or Control Room Helpline No).  On 1 May 2020, 7 Special Trains has carry Pravasi, Students, Worker, Professional, Tourist, Pilgrims to their HOMETOWN.

1. Bangalore to Jaipur (4 May 2020 7 AM)
2. Bangalore to Danapur (Timing will be soon available)
3. Kota JN to Gaya JN (9 PM, 3 May 2020, Sunday) Route will be – Via Bayana Jn, Tundla Jn, Kanpur Central, Mughalsarai (DDU) and Finally Gaya Jn. at 12:30 PM (Monday)
4. Kota JN to Barauni JN  (11 AM, 3 May 2020, Sunday) Route will be – via Via Bayana Jn, Tundla Jn, Kanpur Central, Mughalsarai (DDU), Danapur Jn, and BJU (Barauni Jn) at 05:30 AM (Monday)

• 2 May 2020: 1945 Hrs: SURAT to BERHAMPUR (via PALDHI, BHUSAVAL, NAGPUR, LAKHOLI, TITLAGARH, VIZIANAGARAM JN)
• कोझिकोड, केरल to Jharkhand

1. Lingampally in Telangana to Hatia in Jharkhand (at 5:00 AM on 1 May 2020)
2. Kota Junction to Ranchi, Lohardaga, Khunti, Gumla, Simdega, Latehar, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Ramgarh, West Singhbhoom, Garwa, Palamu, East Singhbhoom – 1 May 2020 (9:00 PM Departure)
3. Kota Junction to Dhanbad, Bokaro, Giridh, Koderma. Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Godda, Sahibganj, Pakur – 1 May 2020 (9:00 PM Departure)
4. Aluva to Bhubaneswar

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that there are total 28 Lakhs Migrants to be brought back to Bihar and without Special Pravasi  Train, it will is impossible and will take approx more than 30 days via Bus.

Special Train Rules – Reservation

You have to follow these rules. Don’t go to the station for Train Booking/ Reservation. The State Govt. will ask the Ministry of Railways for Special Express Trains. You can contact and register yourself and your family members. So, If any Train is scheduled. You will get an SMS or Call for the Update.

	Special trains to run on request of both the concerned State Govts for sending & receiving stranded persons
	Railways & State Govts to appoint Nodal Officers for coordination & smooth operation
	Passengers to be screened by sending states & only asymptomatic persons to be allowed
	Sending States to bring stranded persons in batches through sanitized buses
	Passengers to mandatorily wear face cover, follow social distancing norms & other precautions
	Meals & drinking water to be provided by sending states at the originating station
	Railways to ensure social distancing norms and hygiene of passengers
	On longer routes, Railways to provide a meal en route during the journey
	On arrival at the destination, State Govt, to make all arrangements for their screening, quarantine if necessary & further travel

Here are the 9 Necessary steps, that all State Govt. has to follow while bringing back Pravasi Majdur, Shramik, Students, etc.

	All States/UTs to designate nodal authorities & develop standard protocols
	Nodal authorities to register stranded persons within their States/UTs
	In case a group of stranded persons wishes to move between States, the concerned States may consult each other
	Only asymptomatic persons will be allowed after screening
	Buses used for transport to be sanitized; social distancing norms to be followed
	States falling on the transact route to allow passage of such persons
	On arrival, the health status of persons to be assessed & they should be kept in home/institutional quarantine per the assessment
	Periodic health checkups will be conducted
	Use of Aarogya Setu App to be encouraged for monitoring their health status
