Transaction Flow:
- The vehicle arrives at the NETC Lane, the Reader captures the RFID Tag Details.
- The reader will check for the exception list with the Plaza Server.
- If the reader finds that the Tag ID is present in a low balanceexceptionList or Blacklist, then the vehicle will not be allowed to pass the NETC Lane. The vehicle needs to take an exit path and tender cash.
- These RFID Tag Details along with the Vehicle Class [captured by Automatic Vehicle Classification], Weight In Motion [WIM], etc. present to the acquirer Host within configured intervals.
- Acquirer host can request for tag details from the mapper using the Tag ID.
- NETC system will fetch the relevant details that are present in mapper against the particular Tag ID.
- These details are then sent back to the Acquirer host.
- After successful validation of the Tag ID, the acquirer host calculates the toll fare and raises a debit request to the NETCOnline system.
- The NETCOnline system will identify the Issuer bank that is associated with the Tag ID.
- The debit request is then forwarded to the Issuer Host identified from the mapper.
- The Issuer Host forwards the Debit request to its Core Banking Solution System that may include linked tag holder’s account which can be Savings Account, Credit Card Account, PrepaidAccount, etc
- The Issuer’s CBS System after identifying the customer’s account will debit the amount from his account.
- A debit response will be sent back to the Issuer Host.
- The Issuer Host will forward the debit response with the unique transaction ID (that was generated at the Plaza Server) to the NETC System.
- The NETC System will then forward the response to the Acquirer Host who had initiated the transaction.
- In case of Return pass the Toll Fare is calculated at the Acquirer Host.
- Credit Request is raised by the Acquirer Host to the NETC System in case of any excess payment collected by the acquirer/toll plaza.
- A credit request is then forwarded to the Issuer Host identified from the mapper.
- The Issuer Host forwards the Credit request to its Core Banking Solution System that may include a linked tag holder’s account which can be Savings Account, Credit Card Account, PrepaidAccount, etc.
- The Issuer’s CBS System after identifying the customer’s account will credit the amount to the tag holder’s account.
- A credit response from the CBS system will be sent back to the Issuer Host.
- The Issuer Host will forward the credit response with the unique transaction ID (that was generated at the Plaza Server) to the NETC System.
- The NETC System will then forward the response to the Acquirer Host who had initiated the transaction.
