National Highways (NH) Toll Plaza FASTag Customer Support: National Electronic Toll Collection is a program that uses a FASTag Tag sticker that is detected by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). NH Toll Plaza FASTag Customer Care team is happy to serve the Vehicle Owners facing problems in Toll Payments at Toll Plaza.  In case, you have valid FASTag and the RFID device or Handheld RFID at Toll Plaza is not able to deduct from my Prepaid Sticker.

Updates: 1 Jan 2021 Onwards, Its mandatory to have FASTag otherwise you may have to pay a Penalty.

From 22 November 2019 to 1 December 2019, the FASTag Sticker is given free of cost to the Vehicle owners. You don’t have to pay Rs 150/ -which was paid as Security Charges. It’s important to note that, Govt of India (NHAI) has not made it mandatory to have FASTag on 1 Dec 2019. But, in case you don’t have the FASTag then you have to choose only from LANE which is not FASTag enabled. (or HYBRID – Cash + FASTag).

Indian Highways Management Company LTD (IHMCL) will be implementing the NETC system on the toll plazas of national highways of India. FASTag is the brand name for the passive RFID tags used in the NETC program. FASTag are passive RFID tags affixed on the windshield of the vehicle and are used to identify the vehicle uniquely.

As per the NETC Program, the members has to provide support to the Customers facing issue in FASTag or Payments of Toll. Here, we are sharing an official helpdesk cum support number at which you can contact and register your complaint.

In case the tag holder’s tag is not read at the toll plaza and vehicle is not allowed to pass through the NETC lane, the toll plaza operator has to abide to the following process to support the end customer.

    • Pre-requisite
      • Tag Holder is registered onNETC mapper with following provisions in place
        • The tag affixed on the windshield of the vehicle issued by a valid issuer bank must be used for the transaction
        • Correct vehicle registration number should be mapped to the tag id on NETC Mapper
      • The tag is linked to an active account by the Issuer bank
    • Tag HolderComplaintand transaction processing
      • Customer complaint can be processed at the toll plaza as per the flowchart described below
      • Both Issuer and Acquirer bank should authenticate the root cause of the failure
        • In case the tag was not valid or correctly personalized the issuer, the bank should replace the tag at no additional cost to tag holder within 48 hours of reporting such issue.
        • In case the Acquirerhost system is not functioning, the Acquirerhost should rectify the issues within 7 working days of identification of the issue. In case the toll plaza system has the issue, then the toll plaza operator should rectify the issues within 7 working days of identification of the issue. Acquirershould report the same to IHMCL/ NHAI
